Where is the Money??
the USA is a rich country, rich in resources, and with triple fortune where others have none. We have no less than Jupiter, Venus and the Sun in our house of Money, in the Sign of eternal depth. In 2003 that pile of riches began to dwindle, to be fed to the howling packs who once fed, failed to reappear with any balance to refill the coffers. In that year Saturn moved into our money house, solidifying what was real (like estate) and pruning back all excess. Our President was born with the sun close to the degree that the USA sun is, and so he also began to be solidified, pruned and linked with the destiny of our own treasury. Could it be that his karma has been to empty the resources that he so easily connected with, and was identified with? OIL? As this commoditiy begins to reveal its mortality and finite measure, so are all of our values brought into the measure of truth and lasting worth. We are now reaching the critical mass of that robbery, and finally able to discern (Saturn in Virgo) just how seriously we have compromised our basic essence, how loosely we have squandered our creativity, and our ability to feed and clothe ourselves. Innovations in agriculture, infrastructure, and systems like health, transportation and communication are the necessities of today, and they contain magnificent opportunities for rebuilding and re-tooling for the requirements of the future. New ideas, younger perspectives, and an appreciation for the next generation of technologies are where the money is, and so far, it is not in the mainstream. We have become the nation of managers, instead of creators. We will forever carry the soul of creation, but we have lost our way and forgotten what we need.
In 2009, great innovations are ready to rise, and they require that we all have our health and plenty of nourishment. The soul is speaking in this conversation as well as the body. Remember, this is a time of Ethics. How we do things is as important as why, and how well will be counted in how true and how good we can be. Saturn stays in Virgo until 2010, and then our alliances will be our fortunes. For now, though, the critical eye is not going to rest.
